Do we, with our branches, herald the god of our nationalistic self-interests or the God who blesses all nations? the god of our military war machine or the God of peace? The god who blesses America or the God who blesses the world? »more

In order to heal we must often wound. In order to remove cancer, a surgeon must slice open the body and cut out the malignant cells. This is painful, yet necessary, in order to deal with such a deeply invasive evil. The infliction of pain is not the ultimate goal, but a tragic consequence, of the procedure. Everyone desires to experience home. This is why the word "home" is so precious to us. We all desire to belong to another and dwell in that belonging. No one wants to be "homeless."
